While investigating the criminal background and records of all the members over 18 years old in the homestay family, teachers of the Department of Homestay Family Recruitment will make field visits to the families that have passed the criminal background investigation, evaluate their family status, character, compassion and other indicators during the communication, so as to ensure that students can have a good learning and living environment in the homestay family.
With relatively good facilities and separated room for students, our homestay families have received good education (most hosts have bachelor or above degree, and some have master and doctor degrees), engage in good occupations (doctors, nurses, high-tech practitioners, enterprise senior managers, self-employment/entrepreneur, university professors, writers, and staffs of local government functional organs) and have experience in receiving international students.
Professional Trusteeship Service
AEEG provides students with professional trusteeship services, so as to assist parents in managing students’ education, activities, and medical treatment. While protecting our children’s legal rights and legitimate interests in the United States, we will entrust some of our functions and power to schools, homestay families, coordinators and counseling agencies involved in AEEG, so as to help students timely. Making Field Visit to Homestay Families Every Month, and Providing Parents and Schools with Detailed Monthly Reports
AEEG equips each child with a local regional representative who will visit the homestay family every month, check the living and learning situations of students, communicate with hosts, and report the detailed monthly report to the parents in China and American schools. With full and accurate content, the monthly report can truly reflect students’ performance in school, after-school activities and living conditions at homestay, so that parents can fully master the living and learning conditions of students in the United States in China.

Activity Arrangement
AEEG will organize barbecues, holiday dinners, cultural events especially during traditional Chinese festivals and give students holiday gifts (such as moon cakes), so that students can feel warm in a foreign land. Homestay Family Training
With strict selection and training system, AEFG will conduct cultural training on homestay families, including cultural differences between China and the Western countries, how to communicate with international students, and differences in diet between China and Western countries, common questions asked by homestay families, AEFG student rules and regulations and so on, and help homestay families move into the role and tolerate differences in Western and Chinese cultures and communication on the basis of understanding, so as to provide students with high-quality homestay life.
Pre-trip Training
AEEG provides students with professional pre-trip training and guides the path of studying abroad in the United States. Before the trip to the United States, AEEG will assign professional teachers to introduce the cultural differences between the east and the west, school rules, tips for luggage packing, especially how to protect themselves and ask for help in case of emergency and teach students how to get along with American families, school teachers, classmates and coordinators.
